Taxi driver defends himself from aggressive passenger with teargas spray
A man has been taken to the hospital with chemical injuries of the eyes this morning. Sources in the Chisinau Emergency Hospital have told Info-Prim Neo that the drunken 39-year-old man was traveling by taxi at about 5.30. The circumstances of the incident are not yet known. According to preliminary information, the man started a fight with the taxi driver, who used teargas spray to calm him down. The ambulance was called by police officers of Botanica district, who intervened and detained the aggressive passenger. The man is now at Saint Trinity Hospital. An investigation is underway.
