The driver of a taxi suffered burns when his cab started to burn near the Balti Children’s Hospital. The man was transported to the Balti Municipal Hospital with first- and second-degree burns.

Press officer of the Balti Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Andrei Adam has told IPN that there was a passenger in the car. When the two felt smoke, they got out of the cab. The driver opened the car’s hood and the flames burned his face.

The vehicle was 90% destroyed.
