Tax on pastures in Transnistria to be annulled

The residents of the Transnistrian region will no longer pay taxes for using pastures and meadows. A decision to this effect was taken by the Transnistrian administration, IPN reports.

Earlier, the given tax wasn’t applied to fields and pastures leased out to people or provided gratis, but only for a period of seven years. Afterward, the tax was to be paid.

After the leader of the Transnistrian region signs the edited variant of the bill, the tax will be definitely annulled.

The Transnistrian administration hopes the initiative will stimulate the inhabitants to register the land that they were allowed to use in their name.
