Tax Inspectorate offers new service for taxpayers

The Fast Statement is a new service provided by the Fiscal Inspectorate for taxpayers. It will be launched on June 1 on a trial basis in Chisinau, Balti and Cahul. If successful, it will be extended to other towns from 2010, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The announcement was made by Oleg Sarbu, division head at IS “Fiscservinform” during the international conference “Information and Communications Technology – 2009”.
He said that the E-statement system stated to work recently. It enables to send fiscal reports by email. “For this to happen, at least the company manager and the chief accountant must have their digital signatures certified,” Oleg Sarbu said.
“The Fast Statement service is an efficient instrument for taxpayers. It will facilitate the method of filling out and presenting 53 fiscal statements,” Oleg Sarbu said.
Fifty taxpayers already send fiscal reports through the Internet. Eight out of these are private individuals.
