Moldovan swimmer Tatiana Salcuțan ranked eighth at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. In 100 m breaststroke, the athlete from Tiraspol scored the result of 1:02.20, IPN reports.
Russia’s Daria Vaskina became Olympic champion (1:00.45), being followed by Kaylee McKeown of Australia (1:00.58) and Rhyan White of the United States (1:00.60).
In canoe sprint, Ivan Korshunov qualified for the quarterfinals, while in table tennis, Vladislav Ursu beat Elyes Hamdoun of Tunis 4-0, but lost to France’s Bastien Rembert 1-4.
