Moldova has won 22 medals at the international swimming championships held in Bucharest, Romania, IPN reports.
Tatiana Salcutan won the 100 m and 200 m backstroke races both among youth and among seniors. The athlete from Tiraspol was named the best in the youth competition and was awarded €500.
The winner’s rostrum in individual events was also mounted by Tatiana Chisca, Anastasia Moshenskaya, Anastasia Basisto and Nikita Bortnicov. The international swimming championships of Romania involved about 400 athletes from nine countries.
