New local elections for the mayor of Talmaza village, Stefan Voda rayon, will be held on May 18. The decision was issued on Monday at a meeting of the Central Electoral Commission, IPN reports.
The vacancy in the mayor's mandate occurred due to the death of the local elected official, the CEC said.
New local mayoral elections will also be held on the same date in Calugar commune, Falesti rayon, and Chiperceni commune, Orhei rayon, as well as elections for a new Temeleuti village council, Floresti rayon.
