Talks to constitute Parliament to open
Prime Minister Vlad Filat, the leader of the PLDM, said Monday that a coalition with the PCRM is excluded, but he will negotiate with the PL and the PDM to set up a functional Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The talks will start immediately after the final election outcome is announced, but a first meeting of the leaders of the three parties may take place tomorrow.
As to the distribution of posts, Vlad Filat said the discussions on the issue will be held after the legislative body is constituted. He said he was satisfied with the result achieved by the PLDM in elections, stressing it is twice better than in the previous elections.
Vlad Filat avoided saying who won the elections. “I think the Moldovan people have won as they understood that they decide the fate of the country and took an active part in elections,” he said.
