The document establishes a partnership aimed at the practical training of future specialists. Thus, internships will contribute to the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and the development of skills necessary for activity in the field.

Under the agreement, DGPDC will ensure the necessary conditions for the practice to take place, as well as the guidance and evaluation of the interns. On the other hand, USM will coordinate the practical training process and provide scientific-methodological support.

The partnership also envisages the development of joint projects in the field of research and continuous professional training. The institutions aim to collaborate in other initiatives that target the training of specialists in the social sector.

The Chisinau City Hall mentions that individuals who notice worrying changes in a child or adolescent’s behavior can benefit from specialized psychological counseling, offered free of charge and confidentially by the specialists of the General Directorate for the Protection of Children’s Rights. The specialists from the Anti-Drug Hotline take calls from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 AM and 05:00 PM.

In May, the municipal authorities launched the Anti-Drug Plan 2026-2027, which includes conducting information campaigns in schools, training teachers, and implementing counseling services for students and parents. Also, there is a plan to establish an intersectoral municipal commission for monitoring and preventing drug use among young people.
