Taekwondo wrestlers Vadim Dimitrov (58 kg weight class), Tatiana Țîmbalari (57 kg) and Ana Ciuchitu (67 kg) ranked fifth at the Dutch Open, IPN reports.
They were eliminated in the quarterfinals. Vadim Dimitrov had to abandon the fight against an Azeri athlete owing to injury. Another three Moldovan wrestlers, Stepan Dimitrov (58 kg), Andrei Balan (68 kg) and Danila Lupolov (80 kg), finished ninth.
The Moldovan athletes are to now compete at the Belgium Open during March 14-15.
