The researchers in Moldova can apply for three types of scholarships provided by the Government of Switzerland for the 2019-2020 academic year. These are scholarships for scientific researches (12 months), doctoral studies (three years) and post-doctoral studies (12 months) at Swiss universities, IPN reports.

The age limit for research and doctoral studies is 35. Knowledge of a foreign language, such as French, German, Italian or English, depending on the chosen university and its requirements, is mandatory.

To obtain participation forms and the electronic guidelines with the application conditions, the person can obtain information on chisinau@eda.admin.ch. The guidelines and forms are available in English only, but the forms can be completed in the language chosen for studies.

Applications can be submitted to the Swiss Cooperation Office situated at 23 A. Mateevici St, Block B, Chisinau municipality until November 15, 2018 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 2:30pm until 5pm.
