As of December 1, the sports centers, sports grounds and swimming pools in Chisinau will work according to the ordinary program, but visitors will have access on the presentation of COVID-19 certificates. It is also mandatory to enforce the COVID-19 prevention and control measures, as the Extraordinary Public Health Commission of Chisinau municipality decreed, IPN reports.

The Commission set an orange COVID-19 alert level in the municipality of Chisinau. As from December 1, the General Social Assistance and Health Division will instruct to gradually exclude the municipal clinical hospitals from the COVID-19 circuit. If need be, they will be reintroduced into the circuit.

By the same decision, the Commission requested the Ministry of Health to urgently issue an order to authorize the administration of the booster vaccine dose, in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the group of experts of the National Immunization Committee.
