A pair of swans settled on the lake in “Valea Morilor” Park after 25 years. The birds were seen by the locals and workers of the building site situated in the park, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall. The works at the building site in “Valea Morilor” Park started in 2006, when the water was taken away from the lake. The lake restoration plan has been fulfilled. A water removing device was built on the bottom of the lake. There was installed a pipe that bypasses the river Nagornyi and reinforced the banks of the lake. The water started to accumulate in the lake. According to specialists, the lake will naturally fill with water in about 6 – 8 months. Over 41.6 million lei was spent so far on the rehabilitation of the lake in “Valea Morilor” Park.
