FC Tiraspol's forward Alexandru Suvorov has been named by coach Igor Dobrovolski in the Moldova squad for the upcoming 2010 World Cup qualifiers against Greece (Oct. 11) and Luxembourg (Oct. 15), both on foreign soil. Alexandru Suvorov was considered by football experts as being one of the best tricolor players in Moldova's first qualifiers against Latvia and Israel. The young forward contributed with a decisive pass which was converted into the only goal scored by Moldova in World Cup qualification round thus far. The decision to sign Suvorov in comes after midfielder Victor Komlionok unexpectedly deserted the squad.
