Two young women were robbed in the lifts of the buildings they live in, in Chisinau's Ciocana district. The police have already held a suspect, Info-Prim Neo reports. Adrian Jovmir, of the General Police Commissariat, informed the two incidents happened on Mircea cel Batran Avenue and Milescu Spataru Street. The robber stole girls’ golden chains, valued at more than 3,000 lei each. The suspect, who was recognized by the victims, is a 24-year-old man who lives on Mircea cel Batran Avenue. The police arrested him in a bar in Ciocana and charged him with robbery. If the court finds him guilty as charged, he could be jailed for 6 years. In 2009, he was tried by the Ciocana Court for similar offenses.
