The ambulance doctor who behaved aggressively in the home of a patient in the village of Suruceni, Ialoveni district, has been fired. Health Minister Ala Nemerenco claims that the decision comes in the context of the finalization of the investigation initiated, IPN reports.

"The doctor's contract of activity with the National Center for Prespital Emergency Medical Assistance (CNAMUP) was terminated. There is a communication conflict. The lady was also assaulted. I repeat for all ambulance crews - when there are aggressions from patients or other citizens, when providing medical services, they are obliged, according to protocols, to involve the police service", the minister told the press.

Ala Nemerenco noted that at the same time it is absolutely inadmissible for a medical worker to engage in such behavior.

The Suruceni incident took place a week ago. The female doctor was filmed speaking uncensored and threatening, and the images were publicized on social media. CNAMUP has launched an on-duty investigation. The institution emphasized that it detaches itself from any behavior deviating from medical ethics and deontology in the provision of emergency medical care.
