The surgical block of the Orhei District Hospital will become more efficient from energy viewpoint. As a result of a financing agreement signed between the hospital’s administration, the District Council and the Centru Regional Development Agency, wall insulation works will be carried out in the block. The windows and doors will be replaced, while the roof and the basement’s floor will be insulated thermally, IPN reports.
According to the Centru Regional Development Agency, investments totaling over 8 million lei are needed for the purpose. The works will start after the contractor is chosen and will last for 12 months.
Earlier, the Centru Regional Development Agency implemented investment projects to replace the external doors and windows of the Perinatal Center of the Orhei District Hospital with the technical and financial support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). There was also installed an energy monitoring system and the pediatric block’s water supply and sewerage system was renovated.
