Supreme Court of Justice accepts ANRE’s application over gas tariff
The Supreme Court of Justice Wednesday accepted the application filed by the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), whereby it asked annulling the decision passed by the Chisinau Court of Appeals on December 23, 2010, which obliged the Agency, following a request from SA Moldovagaz, to additionally include technological consumption and technical losses of 62 million lei in the gas tariff for 2011, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Agency’s jurist Veronica Muruziuc said the request of Moldovagaz is unfounded. If the Supreme Court of Justice had upheld the decision of the Chisinau Court of Appeals, 0.06 lei would have been added to the current gas tariff of 6.33 lei/m3 for a volume of up to 30 cubic meters consumed a month and of 6.59 lei/m3 −for a larger volume.
