Supreme Council of Magistrates remains without president
The term in office of Nicolae Clima as president of the Supreme Council of Magistrates expired on November 12. Nicolae Clima will return to the post of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice. The situation was discussed at Thursday's meeting of the Council, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The members of the Supreme Council of Magistrates decided that the appointment of an acting president will be raised at the next meeting as four titular members will be appointed on the Council by then. The candidates are Alexandru Arseni, Igor Dolea, Andrei Smochina and Boris Negru.
The Parliament was to take a decision on Thursday, but postponed the examination of the issue to another sitting.
