The summer season in Chisinau will be officially opened on May 25. In the May 10 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Eliferii Haruta, head of the Green Areas Association, said only the objects in the recreational areas are to be painted. All the other works have been completed, Info-Prim Neo reports. Eliferii Haruta also said that more than 30,000 flowers have been planted in the municipality of Chisinau, on an area of 30 hectares. There were repaired and painted 1,470 benches and 1,300 garbage bins situated in the municipal parks. Works to stop up the holes on the access roads to the recreational area in Vadul lui Voda town are to start this week.
