About 500,000 children and teens will rest in the over 500 summer camps of the country, said Minister of Education Mihai Shleahtitski, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Up to 25% of the tickets to summer camps will be given free of charge to children from one-parent families, families with three and more children and from families on low incomes that benefit from social allowances. The orphans and children who are under tutelage as well as the students who won places at Olympiads will also receive gratis tickets. A day spent in a summer camp costs about 116 lei, in sports schools for children and juniors – 125 lei, in tourist camps – 133 lei, while in day treatment camps – 80 lei. A ticket is for 10-12 days. The price of a ticket to the private camp in Sadova village of Calarasi district was set at 2,800 lei.
