Sudden changes in temperatures cause states of nervousness and tiredness

The sudden changes in temperatures in spring cause states of nervousness and tiredness in persons suffering from cardiovascular diseases and in elderly persons.

Contacted by IPN, the head of the Chisinau Health Division Luminita Suveica said that owing to the sudden changes in temperatures the people feel tired, irritated, agitated and weak. The human body needs time to adapt itself to the changes in temperatures in spring.

When the warm season starts, the body must cope not only with the changes in temperatures, but also with the longer daytime. In order to overcome this adaptation period easier, the persons must eat regularly, drink as much liquid as possible, fruit and vegetables. It is recommended walking in the open air and performing other physical activities.

The persons who suffer from cardiovascular diseases must see a family doctor and receive the necessary treatment because their state can worsen in the period.

The persons aged over 65 are the most affected by changes in temperatures.
