An exhibition of photographs showing success stories of 21 Moldovan young people was opened in the square of the central park of Chisinau “Stephan the Great”. It will continue until November 19, IPN reports.
In the opening of the exhibition, Victoria Tataru, executive director of the Information, Training and Social Analysis Center CAPTES, said the goal is to promote the talented Moldovan young people who work in the country and abroad. The success stories were selected at a contest launched in August.
Project coordinator Ludmila Stoianov said that towards the end of November there will be printed a brochure with young people’s photos and stories. The brochure will be distributed all over Moldova so that the people know them and learn from them.
Minister of Youth and Sport Octavian Bodisteanu said such an exhibition was mounted for the first time, but must definitely be continued the next years. He stated he was impressed by the success stories of young people.
The exhibition forms part of the series of activities carried out by the Ministry of Youth and Sport before the National Youth Day that is marked on November 17.
