Employees of the lighting company “Lumteh” started to set up decorative lights for the holidays in the suburban settlements of Chisinau municipality, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the December 5 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, “Lumteh” director Nicolae Vereshko said the works will be completed by the weekend. In Chisinau, decorative lighting systems were installed on Alba Iulia St, Ion Creanga St, Stefan cel Mare Blvd., Ciuflea St, and Dacia Blvd. Workers of “Lumteh” and the Green Areas Association will decorate the fir tree growing in front of the mayor’s office of Bozieni, from where the Christmas tree for Chisinau has been brought this year. Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca instructed the General Public Transport and Communications Division to provide units of transport for the residents of Bozieni so that they come to Chisinau to see the fir tree that had grown in the yard of the local mayor’s office for 39 years. In Chisinau, the winter holidays were officially opened on December 1.
