Employees of the Chisinau Emergency Division and chemists of the Safeguard-Unblocking Squad discovered a solution that looked like concentrated acetic acid on a street in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, at 22.00 on July 21, someone called the automated management center (901) and informed that a pungent smell was felt on Igor Vieru Street, at the intersection with Nicolae Milescu Spataru Street. Specialists went to the scene and saw that the substance spread on the roadway on an area of about two square meters. That portion of the road was washed. Samples of the substance will be taken to the chemical-radiometric lab of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service to determine its composition. An investigation is under way.
