Landowners have several more days at their disposal to apply for subsidies in advance for investment projects that refer to land improvement, biological amelioration and soil protection. Applications can be submitted by March 7, IPN reports.
The subsidies represent 80% of the value of the eligible project. The money will be provided for activities to prevent and combat soil erosion on farmland affected by erosion for chemical amelioration and to conserve land and improve soil fertility.
The file needs to be presented by the applicant to the local office of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture in the area where the applicant will make the investment.
