The third- and fourth-year undergraduate and graduate students will work as educators and teachers in general education institutions of Moldova during the 2020-2021 school year. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research said the students interested in this program will be hired and paid for a teaching norm of at most nine hours, IPN reports.
This activity will be considered teaching practice and the higher education establishments will not demand that these students should present additional reports within this practice. While the students will be involved in teaching activity, the university and the institution where these will work will designate by a mentor. The mentors of the two institutions will coordinate and agree a flexible timetable for the academic classes and school lessons so that the students could cope with the activities. Individualized teaching plans will also be worked out for the students.
The assignment of students will depend on the number of teachers asked by representatives of local education divisions.
