Minister of Education Corina Fusu signed a circular under which the Historic Education Week will be held in pre-university education institutions during March 27-31. In the period, there will be staged activities to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the adoption by the People’s Council of the decision concerning Bessarabia’s Union with Romania on March 27, 1918.

The circular says the Historic Education Week forms part of the program of extracurricular activities for 2017 and is aimed at promoting educative valences of the historic events in schools, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Education proposed establishing partnerships with local public institutions of culture in order to organize the Historic Education Week and the events related to the 99th anniversary of the Union of 1918.

The Ministry will think up electronic teaching support for staging the Historic Education Week in pre-university education institutions.
