Students of five Chisinau lyceums involved in first financial education campaign
The students of five Chisinau high schools took part in the first social campaign on financial education for students within three days. The campaign was carried out at the lyceums “Mircea Eliade”, “Literarum”, “Ion Creanga”, “Nicolai Gogol”, and “Dimitrie Cantemir”, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the Business Academy for Children and Adolescents “Prospera”, the aim of the event was to familiarize the students with the main notions concerning financial education and with the composition of a family budget. The children were explained the necessities of every family member and how to appreciate the parents’ work.
In a Public Hour, teachers of the Academy “Prospera” conducted an opinion poll in order to determine the level of financial culture and the children’s attitude to money. The results will be made public during the Open Doors Day at the Business Academy “Prospera” on January 11-12, 2013.
The social campaign is intended for children and teens aged between 7 and 17. The courses are free of charge.
