Students more active compared with September 5 referendum
About 100 students written on the lists voted at the polling place housed by the Ministry of Health, which is located near the dormitories of the State University of Moldova, by noon. Another 16 students voted on the basis of the student’s card, after filling out a statement on own responsibility.
“Compared with the September 5 referendum, the students are more active. We expect that more students will come in the afternoon. In general, the students are more active after 4pm,” the head of the electoral bureau of the polling place Vladimir Carp has told Info-Prim Neo.
Aliona Cojocaru, a student of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, came to vote because she wants a better future. “All my colleagues pledged to vote. We must assume responsibility for our future,” she said.
The lists of the given polling place include 901 students of the Faculties of Economic Sciences, Law, Marketing, Business and Administration of the State University of Moldova.
