Eighth-twelfth graders of secondary education institutions of Chisinau municipality are invited to take part in the contest “Literary Creation Laboratory” staged by the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of the Municipal Council. The theme of the seventh contest of the kind is “We need to powerfully believe in something. And what is better than believing in love.”

“The goal of this competition is to identify and promote young talents among adolescents and young people from Chisinau municipality. We also aim to highlight, encourage and stimulate students and teaching staff,” Elena Vorotneac, head of the Division’s Information and Community Relations Section, has told IPN.

The poetry and prose contest is held in several stages. The presentation of the participation offer will end on January 12 and works will be collected by January 19. The works will be assessed during January 22-29. At the end of this month, the works will be presented publicly and the winners will be awarded.

The literary creation must not exceed three typed pages in the Times New Roman font, size 14. Works containing orthographic or semantic mistakes or copied works will not be accepted. One applicant can submit only one work on the proposed theme.

The best works will be included in specialized publications and collections by keeping the title of the author and will be popularized in municipal education institutions. The students who will rank first, second and third will get money awards and diplomas, while the coordinating professors will receive certificates of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport.
