A group of teachers from the capital city and 32 film crews are working out 15-minute educative contents that will be broadcast online and on national TV channels, mayor general of Chisinau Ion Ceban was quoted by IPN as saying in a news conference

The teachers are preparing 4,800 such lessons. The municipality will allocate 4 million lei for the first stage of this project. Ion Ceban said the provision of technical possibilities for the teachers to be able to work is now a key priority. The student equipment capacity will be analyzed later. “Discussions are now held with economic agents so as to ensure the broadcast of these lessons on national TV channels as the students in Chisinau definitely all have TV sets at home,” he stated.

As to the platform for enrolling children in the first grade, the mayor said that this is temporarily nonfunctional as the Ministry of Education put off the admission to school in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. The authorities will inform when the procedure could be resumed.
