Students who want to continue their studies at a high school in the capital city can submit their files starting Saturday, July 6. For the 2024-2025 school year, the high school enrollment process is planned in 97 secondary education institutions (cycle II – high school) in the municipality. These are 82 public and 15 private institutions, which will employ a total of 5,246 students, divided into 220 classes, IPN reports.

On escoala.chisinau.md platform, each graduate can submit the documents simultaneously to three institutions, between July 6 and 15. On July 16, the competition will be organized for high schools with admission based on additional tests. Between July 17-19, the competition of files will take place. This involves the calculation of the competition averages and compilation of the final list of students admitted based on the competition average. The results will be announced on July 20.

The second stage of submissions to apply for the vacant places will start on August 1 and will run until August 4. The competition of files will take place on August 5 and the results will be announced on August 6.

On August 10, the final report on the results of the high school admission session will be presented to the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports.

According to the methodology for the admission of students to high schools, the educational institutions set the minimum competition grade of not less than 6.00 for full-time high schools, grades X-XII, and of 5.00 for part-time high schools, grades X-XIII. The minimum grade of the competition is set by the decision of the Teacher Council at the stage of approval of the high school admission plan.
