A student of a Chisinau university was hospitalized with a stab wound to the heart. Silvia Babara, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 21-year-old student of the Technical University of Moldova was attacked in the dormitory located at 7 Studentilor St. The incident happened in his room on Thursday evening. The victim was admitted to the reanimatology section of the Emergency Hospital with a penetrating wound of the heart and hemorrhagic shock. The police in Chisinau’s Rascani district are investigating the case. Chronic alcoholism was the cause of death of a man aged 55. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 733 calls, including 76 cases of acute viral infection, 11 cased of flu, 67 causes of trauma and five strokes.
