Student dies after falling from height
A girl studying at the Agrarian University died Friday after falling from the third floor.
Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Eufalia Negreata has told Info-Prim Neo that the 20-year-old girl was living in one of the University’s dormitories located on Mircesti St. At about 9pm, she slipped when she was hanging the washing out, fell and hit her head on a sharp object. An ambulance rushed her to the Emergency Hospital, where she died in half an hour.
A 59-year-old employee of SA Apa-Canal died in the street on the way to the drugstore. The man felt sick in the morning and decided to go and purchase medications, but did not get to the drugstore.
A woman aged 73 was found dead in her apartment in Chisinau’s Rascani district. Her inebriated son and a locksmith were sleeping nearby. The woman suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma before she died. The police are investigating the case.
A man suffering from a mental illness beat everyone around him and, when he saw the police, stabbed himself in the abdomen.
Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams traveled to 703 addresses and dealt with 57 cases of trauma, 60 cases of acute viral infection, six strokes, 17 deliveries and other emergencies.
