Evelina Rusu, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that an eight grader of school No. 35 situated in Ciocana district was beaten brutally by schoolmates on Tuesday. He was admitted to Valentin Ignatenko Hospital with a cranial-cerebral trauma, concussion and contusions of the soft tissues of the head. The police are investigating the case. A man aged 29 was discovered dead in his apartment. His mother, who was under the influence of alcohol, called the ambulance late at night. She said her son hit himself. The ambulance doctors established that the man died several hours earlier. An investigation is underway. A man and a woman were found on the street intoxicated and taken to Saint Trinity Hospital Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 713 calls, including 59 cases of acute viral infection, five cases of flu, 20 cases of pneumonia, 60 cases of trauma, eight strokes and 20 deliveries.
