There are fewer strawberries and cherries at the market and their prices thus increased. One kilogram of cherries costs 20-25 lei and even 30 lei, while of strawberries 40 lei and up. On the other hand, there is an abundance of apricots, peaches, raspberry, gooseberry, black, white and red currant at the market, IPN reports.

Apricots are sold for 12 lei and up per kg, peaches for 8 lei and up, raspberry for 20 lei, as last week, gooseberry and black, white and red currant for 25-35 lei, while sour cherries for 20 lei. Imported watermelons cost 10 lei per kg, but these are yet few in number.

One kilogram of pods costs 15 lei and up, of cucumbers and vegetable marrows - 5 lei and up, of tomatoes – 19 lei and up, of bell peppers - 9-10 lei, of potatoes - 7 lei, of early cabbage - 7 lei, of eggplants – 18 lei, while a bunch of parsley, dill or red onion tops costs 2 lei, as earlier.

Ten eggs can be bought for 12 lei. Pork costs 65 lei per kg, beef - 70-75 lei, ewe’s cheese - 65 lei, cow cheese - 40-50 lei, sour cream - 35 lei, while butter – 80 lei.
