The strategy for reforming the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has been finalized and will be submitted to the Ministry of Justice the coming days. Afterward, it will be sent to Parliament for examination. The announced was made by Speaker Igor Corman, IPN reports.
Igor Corman said the document will be also transmitted to the Venice Commission for consideration.
The strategy will be implemented until 2016 and will be supported financially both by the state and by foreign partners. Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim said that the EU will provide €60 million for reforming the judicial sector of Moldova.
