The Straseni District Hospital invites tenders for purchasing new medical equipment. The money is provided in the form of grant by the Government of Japan.
Contacted by IPN, the hospital’s director Alexandru Tuchila said they will buy a digital ecographer, an automated biochemical analyzer, a device for determining the acid-base balance, and a device for determining ions in blood. Japanese specialists will then come to verify if all the conditions laid down in the project to purchase medical equipment were met.
The tender contest will take place on March 5. The hospital plans to spend about US$90,000 on the medical equipment.
