The lawn stolen from the Dacia Blvd. has been remade under emergency terms, and is currently under the supervision of the police, reports Info-Prim Neo. According to Eliferii Haruta, head of the municipal institution responsible for green spaces, the refurbishment of the 20 square meters of lawn cost the municipality 2,400 lei. In order to avoid another theft, the territory is under the supervision of the police. The lawn was laid on the band separating roads up to the airport, in light of the visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to Chisinau. On the night from Friday to Saturday, the lawn was stolen, right after the “Green Spaces” employees finish laying it.
