STISC launches MoldLex, a platform for easy access to legislation

The Information Technology and Cyber Security Service (STISC) announces the launch of MoldLex - a digital platform designed to provide users with easy, complete and up-to-date access to legal acts of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports, referring to a press release of the institution. The application will be available online via moldlex.md from February 24.

According to STISC, the platform is intended for lawyers, civil servants, students or citizens interested in legislation. "MoldLex is the ideal solution to navigate quickly and efficiently through the complexity of the national legislative framework," STISC says in the press release.

According to the cited source, MoldLex includes an extensive database covering legal acts published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova since 1924, the legislation of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, as well as other official legislative sources, constantly updated to reflect legislative changes.

The platform allows instant identification of relevant legal acts through filters such as: specific keywords, name of the act, date of publication. All documents are available in an optimized format, accessible from any type of device (PC, tablet, smartphone).

Users can save or print legal acts directly from the platform, and each document contains a detailed history of the amendments applied over time, with the exact dates of amendments (day/month/year), previous versions of the legal act, comparison of the changes made.

STISC notes that the platform integrates a specialized system for people with special needs, thus ensuring a barrier-free and user-friendly digital environment for everyone.
