Parliament decided to set up working groups that will draft by a bill concerning the statuses of the municipalities of Chisinau and Balti. MPs from all the factions will work as part of the two groups, IPN reports.

The group for designating the bill on the status of Chisinau municipality will include Socialist MPs Vlad Batrancea and Vasile Bolea, Democratic lawmakers Valentina Buliga and Efrosinia Gretu, Communists Boris Golovin and Alexand Bannicov, Lib-Dems Vlad Filat and Iurie Tap, and Liberal MP Ion Casian.

The other group will consist of Alexandr Nesterovschi and Victor Sorocean of the PSRM, Tudor Deliu and Aliona Gota of the PLDM, and Elena Botnarenco and Vasile Panciuc of the PCRM. The PDM and PL delegated the same persons as in the first case.

The author of the initiatives Vlad Filat said all the parliamentary groups should take part in the formulation of bills to define the statuses of Chisinau and Balti municipalities.

The working groups are to present the bills within 60 days.
