The costs associated with the transportation of dead persons from abroad to Moldova will be partially covered by the state. A sum of 232,000 lei was planned for the purpose and a relevant proposal was submitted for amending the 2018 state budget, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection said the given assistance is financed within special purpose programs in the area of social assistance and services included in the minimum package of social services.

The programs are implemented with the monthly transfers made by legal entities that provide mobile telephone services to the value of 2.5% of the revenues earned from these services and the transfers obtained from the mandatory additional payment in the amount of 50 lei made for a vehicle registration certificate.
