State structures to manage Lipcani – Radauti border-crossing point
The entities of the Lipcani - Radauti border-crossing point have been entitled by the state to be managed by the Constructions Ministry, the Customs Service, the Border Guards Service, the Lipcani town council, the RED Nord power supplier and Moldtelecom, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The road and the bridge over the Prut river near Lipcani town were repaired from 2005 through 2007 on the basis of a memo signed by the Moldovan Government and the European Commission.
The works cost 44.88 million lei and the financing was disbursed through the TACIS program. The works were carried out by a company called Badprim SRL, as it was selected in a tender announced in Kiev by the EC.
The Moldovan Transport Ministry was the general beneficiary of the crossing point. The revamp works allowed a neighborhood of Lipcani to get connected to the water supply grid.
