State shares of 645,900 lei sold at outcry auction last week
Two joint stock companies in which the state owned majority holdings were exhibited last week at an outcry auction, where there were auctioned state-owned shares in 38 companies, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The 91.2% holding in the Soldanesti-based tobacco fermentation plant was sold for 301,000 lei on the first auction day. On the last day, there was sold a 52% holding in the joint stock company for biological and agrochemical service of the agroindustrial complex Fertilitate situated in Marculesti, for 160,900 lei. Holdings of less than 1% were sold in SA Construct based in Telenesti, the Hancesti-based dairy factory, Brisco situated in Briceni, and Locuinta located in Soroca.
As a result, the state collected 645,900 lei from the sale of its shares.
The auction formed part of the last privatization round staged by the Public Property Agency this year. This round also includes an investment and commercial contest where businessmen can submit bids until December 6. At the outcry and discount auctions that will take place this week, there will be offered shares in patrimonial complexes and unfinished constructions situated in Chisinau and other parts. The price can be reduced by 50%.
State-owned shares and property to the value of 1.3 billion lei have been auctioned during the current privatization round.
