Another 15 million cubic meters of natural gas will be added to the state reserves. The given quantity will be purchased by SA “Energocom” in two parts that will be stored in reservoirs in Ukraine, as the Commission for Exceptional Situations decided, IPN reports.
The natural gas will be bought and shipped based on an EFET framework contract for the sale and purchase of natural gas that was signed by SA “Energocom” and SA “Moldovagaz”.
The purchase price of the first 10 million cubic meters will be US$1,882.78 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas, plus the cost of delivery through the transportation system of SRL “Moldovatransgaz”. The second volume, of 5 million cubic meters, will be bought in October at the preliminary price of US$1,058.11 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas. The final price will be recalculated after the import price of gas for SA “Moldovagaz” this October is set.
The Commission for Exceptional Situations also decided to allocate 511 million lei from the state budget for increasing the share capital of SA “Energocom”.
In order to cover the costs incurred to manage the refugee crisis, 589,700 lei will be allocated from the Government’s Reserve Fund for paying bonuses to the salaries of persons involved in the management of the inflow of refugees. A sum of 445,100 lei will be distributed to the local public authorities of the first level and 3.287,3 million lei to the local public authorities of the second level for maintaining the temporary placement centers intended for refugees. For the same purpose, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will receive 1.877 million lei, while the Ministry of Education and Research - 119,900 lei.
