State of emergency extended in Transnistrian region

The state of emergency declared in the Transnistrian region for the period between March 17 and April 5 was extended until May 1, IPN reports.

The restrictions that can be imposed in the period are related to the right to move, the right to leave the region and return to it, the right to assembly, the rights to work and to rest.

According to the Transnistrian administration, 68 persons are currently in quarantine at the hospital in Slobozia. As many as 18 persons from the region have been diagnosed with COVID-19 so far.

On the left side of the Nistru, the state of emergency was declared for 60 days until May 15.
