State holdings in three companies sold for 10m lei
State-owned shares in three joint stock companies to the value of 10.1 million lei were sold on the Moldova Stock Exchange on December 6, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The shares were sold as an undivided package by outcry auction, where the shares go to the highest bidder.
The shares in “Masrut” and “Fregata” were sold at the initial price, while in the third case the price was doubled.
The shares in the Straseni-based minibus making and repairing company “Masrut”, in which the state owns 98% of the registered capital, were sold for 5.995 million lei or 16 lei apiece.
The 77.8% state holding in the Hancesti-based soil amelioration company SA “Fregata” was sold for 360,200 lei.
The price of the shares in “Gazproiect” rose from 65 lei to 120 lei apiece. The state earned 3.753 million lei for its 80.5% holding in this company.
The auction was initiated by the Economy Ministry’s Public Property Agency. It will continue until December 9.
