The state holding of 85% or 1,700 shares in the minibus and bus terminal SA “Gara de Nord” will be transferred from the Motor Terminals and Stations enterprise to the Public Property Agency. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar said the transfer was recommended by the Audit Office, IPN reports.

According to Valeriu Lazar, the move will enable to financially monitor the holding and to include it in the Public Patrimony Register. Under an Audit Office report, this hasn’t been yet done. One of the effects of the transfer will be the payment of dividends of 1.5-2 million lei annually into the state budget. Currently, these sums remain in the accounts of the enterprise Motor Terminals and Stations.

The Public Property Agency will also manage the state-owned shares in SA Moldcinema, instead of the Ministry of Culture, in SA Energocom, instead of the Ministry of Economy, and in SA Sudor, instead of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction. The holding in SA Sudor (0.17% or 402 shares) will be included in the list of property that can be privatized.
