The officers of the  State Guard and Protection Service who do not own a personal or company dwelling individually or together with the husband/wife in the locality were they work will get a monthly allowance of 1,500 lei a for renting accommodations. A sum of 2.880 million lei was allocated from the 2019 state budget for the purpose, IPN reports.

The allowance is not paid to officers whose domicile is in localities situated within 30 km from the workplace. This will be paid monthly and the provision or refusal decisions will be approved by a commission consisting of seven persons led by the State Guard and Protection Service’s director.
